As mentioned in Film Posters, these are comparisons between a few of the posters and their original photograph counterparts, focusing on the major attributes that were manipulated and giving a better lens to explore what was changed.

Some of these changes are obvious, like color correction, lighting, etc. Other modifications are more subtle-- sometimes super-subtle, such as making eyes squint, enlarging eyes for emotional relation, changing the brow-ridge, or even giving the mouth a slight twinge, smirk, or opening, producing a totally different feel for the entire poster.
